物敍| Objournalist
Found in June 2020, by an ordinary Hong Konger who was born and now lives in Hong Kong.
物敍| Objournalist records and tells stories through “Object Journalism” – a way of storytelling through curating objects.
To address the serious problem of Hong Kong Police brutality and record the unique Hong Kong Protesting style, our main responsibilities are to research and curate objects collected from on-site visits and second-hand sources.
Thanks to the trust of Mmuseumm, New York, the exhibition “Are We Being Heard? Tools of Protest - Hong Kong” is launched. Exhibits have been compiled into a catalogue and serve as a dissemination of information internationally.
We aim to contribute to the conservation of the local Hong Kong culture by expanding our collection within a year.
Goal 1 : Increase the amounts of our collection
Goal 2 : Publish a catalogue that tells stories about the local protesting culture
Goal 3 : Promote the conservation of local culture
“ Remember, so that we could dream on.”
Donation would be a great contribution to this project.
If you have the same vision as ours – telling the stories of Hong Kong to the next generation with a book that reveals stories that have actually happened – please do not hesitate to support us!
We need your support to continue to record the last glimpse of the local Hong Kong culture.
